I don't think I'll have a problem with three. Now a multiplier of 5 I might have more issues with, but my tires are nice and sticky, hence the reason I've worn them down in 4600 miles.

You've got 4600 miles out of your tires? That's pretty good really.

True story. Hell, I've only gotten 5k out of my car tires. I had some Dunlop's on my bike that were gone after 2500

most people I hear get around 6,000 out of the new Pilot Road 3s. My bike came stock with Battlax BT016s.... I absolutely love them, they are about the stickiest street tire you can get, but they do wear out quick. it would have been better if I lived in Joplin before, but without weaving at all, riding 80 miles a day for work kinda killed them. they are super square in the middle. I'm not sure what I want to do. The Pilots last a lot longer, but I've gotten so used to the Battlax traction...... although they are a bit more expensive for a tire that doesn't last as long

The last tire I got was a dual compound tire... Hard in the middle and soft on the sides. Worked well for my work commute & fun time in the corners. It's been a while so I can't remember what the tire was called...

I doubt it would take very little time adjusting between tire brands. It's going to feel so different with any new tires I doubt you could tell anyway. I remember one time my front tire was cupped so bad from wheelies it was crazy. I put a new tire on and it felt like a whole new bike.

My thing is the sticky Battlax tires have allowed me to get more and more ballsy in the corners...... my chicken strips are non existent..... I'm afraid if I get anything less sticky and try to be just as ballsy, I'll end up laying in a ditch.... or shoal creek lol

On the street I doubt you'd notice. Any true sport bike tire will do.

They make a dual compound tire as well:
