I can tell from 30'. Plasti-dip always gets a really flat and faded look to it. Chad obviously doesn't like the look of it. But that's ok. It's just his opinion.

I ran plasti dip on the 12 for a while. Some didn't like it but I did and was making the payments so I didn't much give a crap. I got plenty of compliments too.

If you fix up a car or anything just to satisfy the majority then you are for a lack of better words an attention whore, and insecure. I say if you want to dip them then do it. If it sucks you aren't out much and it comes off easy.

That's why I use the glossifier. It'll never get it to that dripping wet ultra-gloss black I want later, but it keeps it from being just matte black and gives it a little shine. And the cool thing about plastidip is it's basically rubber in a can, so you can spray a little tire shine on it and make it that much better.
