Project Redemption (SAFF)

Postby Lone Sailor » May 27th, 2013, 9:54 pm

For those that don't follow us on Facebook, I picked up a new Save A Fox Foundation project. It's a thrashed out '87 T-top GT. Here are a few pictures of what I'm working with.

My best guess is either out of a small and older pickup truck or perhaps even a tractor. They've hacked everything up six ways from Sunday so it's anyone's guess really.

Transmission is junk, surprise surprise. The 302 may or may not be salvageable. Several things are problematic that keep me from even being able to hear it run/idle. I was able to get it to fire one time and thing idled way up to about 2 grand and then died. Interior is all cracked and/or junk so it will all have to be overhauled. This one will surely be the most expensive SAFF project to date.
